A while back, I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to United Kingdom wasn’t on the long-range plan. As with many expatriate relocations, it started as a job chance and soon grew into something far more substantial.
The early months were demanding— unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Daily chores seemed more complex than necessary.
The Adjustment Period
Culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of learning on the go were common. Gradually routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Plain Brook Seed
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism material. What was missing was a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
